Join us Saturday, October 21st for a special engagement of Preserve Minneapolis' Morning Forum series, where we mark the start of MAINS, the Minneapolis Alley Initiative for Neighborhood Stimulation.
Preserve Minneapolis & MAINS invite you to a panel discussion about the value of public alleys in the Warehouse Historic District and the City of Minneapolis. Christian Huelsman, of Cincinnati-based Spring in Our Steps and Preserve Minneapolis will initiate a dialogue concerning the aesthetics, perception of safety, and the need & methods for engagement surrounding public alleys. We'll get behind the motivations that panelists have had to place importance on these hidden public spaces.
Panelists include:
•John Sauer, artist of 100 Alleys
• Rolf Anderson, former principal investigator of the Warehouse Historic District
• Christian Huelsman, founder of MAINS & co-founder/executive director of Spring in Our Steps.
