This tour will begin with the interior of the 1915 St. Paul Cathedral, designed by Emmanuel Masqueray.  Then we will walk several blocks up Summit Avenue, the nation’s best preserved 19th-century promenade street, to view and discuss the history of grand houses designed by Cass Gilbert, Clarence Johnston Sr., Peabody & Stearns, and many others.
